01. What is DharmaCon?

DharmaCon is a dynamic leadership and professional development conference rooted in the lived experiences of Canadian Hindu youth. It is a space designed to empower the next generation of Hindu leaders through meaningful conversations around identity, advocacy, civic engagement, and community building. By bringing together youth, professionals, and changemakers, DharmaCon aims to shape the future of Hindus in Canada—equipping participants with the tools, connections, and confidence to lead authentically with Dharma at the core.

a. If you are traveling from outside Ontario, you can apply for a grant to have your flight costs partially or fully covered. Details will be confirmed with you upon successful registration.

a. The main conference takes place on Saturday, September 27th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, the full experience includes:

1. A welcome dinner for out-of-town attendees on Friday, September 26th

2. An exclusive lunch and guided tour of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir on Sunday, September 28th

a. ALL Hindu young leaders and allies!

b. We welcome youth (ages ~15–30) from all backgrounds who are interested in learning about Hindu identity, leadership, and networking with one of Canada’s most successful diasporas.

a. Fill out the registration form.

b. Once approved, you’ll receive an email for early bird tickets between late August to mid-September.

c. Confirm your spot by paying the $15 early bird ticket fee or $20 regular ticket fee.

a. Yes! We will arrange shuttles to and from the airport for all out-of-province attendees.

a.  Access to DharmaCon’s Full-Day Conference including four panels featured top leaders in their fields.

b. Opportunity to network with mentors across professional sectors such as healthcare, government, business, finance and more.
c. DharmaCon Merchandise! Totebags, stickers, and more!

a. You’ll get to:

    1. Network with professionals who are top in their field.
    2. Learn about making institutional and cultural change as a young leader.
    3. Connect with like-minded Hindu youth and leaders from across Canada
